for the most promising poetry speaker in classes 183 - 189
MAYOR OF HEREFORD’S ACTED SCENE TROPHY
ERIC SANDERS MEMORIAL PRIZE - £20
This award rotates through all disciplines of the Festival and
is given to a very promising performer – the prize must
be spent on the winner’s art form - this year the recipient
will be from the STRING section
YOUNG MUSICIAN OF THE YEAR - £75
YOUNG SPEECH & DRAMA PERFORMER OF THE YEAR - £75
CHOIR OF THE YEAR - £50
ELGAR IN HEREFORD YOUNG MUSICIANS AWARD
We look forward to presenting
the above awards and the
85 Trophies, medals and certificates which will be awarded during
the week

THE HEREFORDSHIRE FESTIVAL is self-financing.
It has been organised for its 77 years by Herefordshire Community Council,
a registered charity and a voluntary organisation, which receives no
core funding. The organising committee are all volunteers and acknowledge
with gratitude the grant aid given local sponsors.
If you, or somebody you know, would like to sponsor a class, it would
be greatly appreciated and your name would appear in our programme.
If you are interested in stewarding during Festival week, we would be
pleased to hear from you..
