ELGAR IN HEREFORD YOUNG MUSICIANS AWARD

THE HEREFORDSHIRE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
is pleased to work in conjunction with
THE ELGAR IN HEREFORD GROUP
to host
THE ELGAR IN HEREFORD YOUNG MUSICIANS AWARD

• The award will be given annually
• The award is open to a formal group from the County of Herefordshire
The group members to be under 19 years of age
• The award is to be in recognition of musical accomplishment in any discipline
• The award is to include the offer of a visit for up to 25 young persons from the Group, to a concert commissioned and organised by the management of the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, subject to their continued sponsorship, terms and conditions.

The Elgar in Hereford Young Musicians Award will be announced at the Festival Concert on Saturday 27th March 2010

 



THE HEREFORDSHIRE FESTIVAL is self-financing. It has been organised for its 76 years by Herefordshire Community Council, a registered charity and a voluntary organisation, which receives no core funding. The organising committee are all volunteers and acknowledge with gratitude the grant aid given local sponsors.

If you, or somebody you know, would like to sponsor a class, it would be greatly appreciated and your name would appear in our programme.
